HCI 574 (Spring 2011) course info

I'm teaching HCI 574 X again in Spring 2011, both as "live" (on-campus) course and as online course. The "live" part (lecture/lab) will take place in EOL (formerly known as Engineering Distance Education ) in Room 1324 (may change) in  Howe Hall. The lectures will be recorded and will be available for download/viewing a couple of days (hours?) after the lecture was given. Online (remote/distance) students can also join the lecture as it is given via Adobe Connect (ask questions via chat).

In both cases I assume that each student has Python available (on-campus students: bring a laptop to class); to me, leaning programming "while doing it yourself" makes a lot more sense that learning by "watching somebody else doing it"!

In addition to using WebCT, I'll to use this blog as a "dumping point" for course related matters. I'll update the entries from Spring 2010 along the way, so some older blog entries may jump to the top during the semester.
